Joe Montana's soup bowl

This bowl was the margin of victory in the
1979 Cotton Bowl. On a cold January day,
while experiencing hypothermia, Notre Dame quarterback Joe Montana ate soup at halftime to raise his body temperature and lead The Irish to a come-back win. You can find Joe’s soup bowl in the 1970s area of the Hall of Champions.
