Volunteer Positions Available

Guest Services

Greeter
Welcomes visitors to the Hall. Provides general statements of orientation for the Museum Lobby, and ramp to the Museum Level, where the tour begins. Occasionally stubs tickets or issues Visitor Guides. Thanks exiting patrons for their visit and encourages them to sign the guest book.

Guide
Welcomes guests to the Museum Level and presents introductory information for that area and the self-guided tour. General information about the Hall of Fame, general information about the location of displays, and community information are topics of discussion for the Guides.

Administrative Services

Reception Aid
Greets visitors in the lobby of the office suite, answers the telephone, and performs light office duties

Collection Registrar
Catalogues the whereabouts of the museum's collection by using a computerized database

Office Assistant
Performs clerical and other light office and support tasks with the Hall of Fame staff

Roster Database
Solicits, collects and enters names of collegiate gridders in college football’s family tree.

Quality Assurance Monitor
Tours the Hall of Fame scouting for items requiring repair or maintenance. Reviews displays as a fact checker

Conservator
Maintains or repairs elements of the museum that require attention

Data Entry Clerk
Performs tasks at the keyboard of a computer

Photographer
Records on film special moments and events at the Hall of Fame

Seamstress
Sews labels in uniforms and makes minor repairs on other fabric items in the collection

Consulting Gardener
Develops a plan for the planting and care of the Hall of Fame grounds. Advises grounds staff on its implementation

Volunteer Services Assistant
Works with the Coordinator on special projects, promotions, and publications
